Junior needs help!

Junior is a one year old cat that was rescued from a feral colony. Unfortunately, he has a Portosystemic Shunt, otherwise known as a liver shunt. It is a condition where the blood vessel bypasses the liver, preventing the blood from being detoxified. The veterinarians feel he is a good candidate for surgery. This is a call out to anyone who can help fund this cat’s medical expense!

In Memory of the Yonkers Cats

As the investigation continues to find those responsible for the horrific killing of cats in Yonkers, New York, this past April, local advocates are holding a memorial for the cats on Saturday, May 10, 2014. The gathering is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.  Alley Cat Allies has offered a "sharegraphic" for those to display and show their support and concern.

New symposium: Integrative Care & Responsible Pet Parenting

Residents of New Jersey and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to participate in an upcoming symposium focused primarily on pet health and wellness. The “Integrative Care & Responsible Pet Parenting” symposium is scheduled for April 5, 2014. The event will take place at the Palmyra Community Center in Palmyra, New Jersey, from 12-5 p.m. Seating is limited, so early registration is advised.
