A day at the Central Jersey Cat Fanciers Cat Show
I do try to get out as much as possible to animal events, and the Central Jersey Cat Fanciers cat show was first on my list this year. The show dates were January 9-11, 2015 in Parsippany, New Jersey. They staged it at a new location, but the excitement and enthusiasm were just the same.
I was fortunate to meet some very interesting folks at the cat show. Mrs. New Jersey United States 2015 was one person that I found not only striking in appearance, but one with a genuine heart when it comes to animal rescue and welfare issues.
I also met folks who do pet therapy work. The therapy cats were calm and well-mannered. More stories to come about these wonderful people and their therapy cats.
The show featured only one cat rescue – Angel PAWS based in Colonia. They were a hit with passers-by who couldn’t help but want to learn more about these adoptable cats and kittens on display.
Last but certainly not least were the judging rings – watching the cats being judged is always a treat. So many types of cat breeds on view with proud owners always willing to share their stories.
I have more to come on this show, so stay tuned. Be sure to subscribe to my Examiner National Cats column and New Jersey Animal Rescue column for more news and details about this event and others like it, too.
Have a great day!
