Pet adoptions and more at the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Festival

Posted by SusanStokes on June 10, 2014

It was an awesome day for pets and people who attended the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Festival in Asbury Park on June 7, 2014.  Home Free Animal Rescue took advantage of the event to showcase adoptable pets while great music filled the air to everyone’s enjoyment.

Home Free Animal Rescue is based in Red Bank, New Jersey. They proudly support “the no-kill revolution” and promote fostering, pet adoption and networking to save pet lives. The volunteer I spoke to at the event was happy to report interest from more people willing to volunteer and help their cause.

In addition to the rescue dogs, people brought their canine friends to the event.  The dogs were enjoying the good times as much as the people!

We had to make a stop at the Wonder Bar.  It’s a dog-friendly venue that hosts Yappy Hour!  Be sure to take your dog along and visit the Wonder Bar the next time you are in town.

And for your listening pleasure, here’s an excerpt from the event.  Good times!
