On this Christmas Eve and first night of Hanukkah, we want to wish everyone a warm and wonderful holiday season. A rare influenza subtype outbreak has been identified in cats residing in a New York City animal shelter. The low pathogenic avian influenza H7N2 was identified by the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
