Celebrating Christmas morning with my kitties! New toys are always fun!  Here is how the morning transpired.

Why, oh why are people so cruel? Sometimes, sad stories of animal cruelty do have happy endings, and that’s what is hoped for Jaws the cat. Jaws was so named because someone bashed his face and fractured his jaw, put a bullet in his tail, and obviously left him for dead. But through a miracle, he survived and was found by a good Samaritan under her car who took him immediately to a veterinarian.

It is my pleasure to share with you the Mdzananda Animal Clinic's story of unconditional love this holiday season. This is their Christmas appeal so please read on. I hope this warms your heart as much as it did mine.

Most folks probably think of dogs as therapy pets when the subject comes up. However Duncan, a miniature horse, has passed his test and is now officially a therapy pet, too. He made an appearance at the Family Pet Show in New Jersey.

It's time to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of National Feral Cat Day, October 16, 2015! Alley Cat Allies has promoted this year's theme as the Evolution of the Cat Revolution.

It was a sad, sad day for so many of us when the story first broke that veterinarian Kristen Lindsey posted a horrendous photo of herself on her Facebook page bragging that she killed a cat (Tiger) with a bow and arrow. Now we are one step closer to justice for this poor feline pet.

When you have more than one pet, and one has an issue with food restriction, whether it be allergies, irritable bowel symptoms, etc., finding the proper food can be a challenging experience.  First and foremost, talk to your veterinarian to determine the cause of any health issues, then go from there. Following are tips to help with the process.
