New pet wearable technology by Poof called the Pea and the Bean monitors your pet's activity, rest, food intake and calories burned, 24/7. It even compares your pet to other pets using Poof. The devices were made with pets in mind because Poof says they are super light, comfortable and waterproof.

Felines meet fashion on the catwalk for a unique adoption event

Fashion Week in New York just got a little more interesting. Fashion icon, actress and cat lover, Katie Cassidy, partnered with Fresh Step to bring felines and fashion together on the catwalk to turn the cat lady stigma upside down at the Fresh Step Feline Fashion Lounge and Adoption Event. The runway show took place Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016.

Meet Kitten Lady – a true crusader for neonatal kittens

There is a woman in Washington, D.C. named Hannah Shaw who has made it her goal to change the world for neonatal kittens. Known as Kitten Lady, she has launched a nonprofit on behalf of kittens in need after her own nickname.

Petfinder launches 20th Anniversary Celebration

With a lifespan of about six to nine years, a ferret can provide quite a bit of companionship and fun. A healthy ferret enjoys play time and is a fast learner. However, there are a few health concerns to look out for, and regular veterinary care is a must in order to detect disease in its early stages.
